On the run from his own people, Robie saves the life of fourteen year old Julie, who has run away with her foster parents. Julie's biological parents are murdered and Robie decides, against his better judgment, to help her to find the killers. But the more he learns about Julie, the more he becomes convinced that they have a key position in a cover-up that extends into the highest echelons of power.

And so will Robie from the shadows to enter the life of an innocent girl to save. And that perhaps his own life...

The girl appears to have run away from home and Robie brings her to the police, where he learns that the parents of the girl disappeared. If he chooses the girl in the monitor, he knows that he must act very cautiously. One of the police investigators suspect that there is a connection between the murder and the girl. When Robie in the past of the girl dives, he stumbles upon a cover-up that has to do with the disappearance of the parents of the girl. A dirty affair that extends into the highest echelons of power. Robie will have to defect to the enemy to the life of an innocent person to save. And his own life...
